              <h4>What are you working on and where are you located? </h4>
            <p>I freelance for various companies and individuals, mostly gaming-related, occasionally fantasy/sf magazines or self-published authors and private commissions. Currently I'm in Vietnam, but I'm only here for a week or two on a sightseeing basis before I move on to Taiwan for a month. </p>

            <h4>How did you end up working remotely?</h4>
            <p>I first heard the term "digital nomad" a few years ago, and decided I wanted to do that. So I saved up for a couple of years, doing freelance and establishing contacts in my free time outside of my day job. When I felt I had enough to provide a good runway, I quit my day job and started traveling. </p>

            <h4>What are the largest challenges you've encountered?</h4>
            <p>There's always the challenge of figuring out how the basics of daily life work in the place you're currently in, but mostly my biggest challenge is balancing sightseeing versus work time. I move very fast (mostly because I want to squeeze in a lot of places while I can), so it's a bit harder for me compared to someone who might travel slow and only move every few months. The second-biggest challenge is sometimes figuring out where I can find decent wifi and outlets. </p>

            <h4>Where is the most interesting place you’ve ever worked from?</h4>

            <p>Interesting or "interesting?" ;) Probably the most aggravating was working in a hostel lobby in Rotorua, because I kept getting beaned by ping pong balls whenever the players at the nearby table missed. On the other hand, that was where I finished up <a href="http://www.priscilla-kim.com/ttj28djizcimummchktyuclvjvb0al">Keeper of the Past</a> in time to submit for <a href="http://www.spectrumfantasticart.com/">Spectrum Fantastic Art 24</a> (and made it in!), so I have some fond memories of it in hindsight. </p>

            <h4>What time zone do you keep?</h4>
            <p>Whatever my current one is. With my freelance work, I don't need to keep a synchronous time schedule. </p>

            <h4>What gear do you use on a day to day basis? Is there anything that makes your job easier?</h4>

            <p>Aside from daily life stuff (clothes, toiletries, phone, wallet), mostly just my Cintiq Companion and the assorted peripherals that go with it. I literally couldn't do my job without it, and it's easier traveling with a tablet PC I can paint directly on than with a laptop and separate drawing tablet. </p>

            <h4>Do you have any advice for anyone thinking about going remote or just starting out?</h4>
            <p>Have a decent amount saved up (at least 6 months' worth wherever you'll be living) and a handful of established clients in your field. More risk-taking people might be comfortable with less, but that's worked pretty well for me, as a fairly risk-averse person. </p>

            <h4>What’s next for you? (Location, remote vs office, etc.)</h4>
            <p>More travel! I'll be sitting pretty in Taiwan for about a month meeting a lot of deadlines before I embark on another series of short trips around East and SE Asia. </p>
