I noticed that the project currently generates RPM packages for RHEL 8 and RHEL 9. With RHEL 10 becoming relevant, it would be highly beneficial to have official support for it as well.

Requested Solution

Could you please provide RHEL 10 RPM packages starting with the apache-cloudberry-2.1.0-incubating release?

Providing these packages will help users preparing to deploy or migrate to RHEL 10 environments. Thank you to the CloudberryDB team in advance.

Hi @aeschbacherEUF, thank you for raising this request. We had previously planned to provide this support; however, building an approved version 2.1 source code to run on Rocky 10 requires introducing some new changes first. You can take a look at this PR: #1678

We plan to provide Rocky Linux 10 RPM packages officially from 2.2.
