Bundle assets instead of using CDN

For privacy and independency it is good practice to bundle the assets with the docker image instead of pulling it from CDN.
What do you think?

Sure. I guess just download the files and place them in goosebit/ui/static/..., right? Or is there a good way to keep them up-to-date?

Is there a way to have a "backup" location for finding imported files in HTML? So we could use the local copy as the primary if it exists, or use the CDN for the backup if the local files don't exist?
