Default filters

I think it would be great if you could either put some default filters in or use .gitignore. Took a very long time to load and it loaded all my .git and node_modules.
any folders that start with . can be safely ignored at the very least.

I believe I put in default . Folder ignoring somewhere, ill double check later.

There are actually supposed to be defaults for this exact reason, ill have to scope out why this isn't working.

However, I did put in some updates recently to make the folder loading a little less expensive. If you're not on the latest, try updating.
