This release of ESP Home states there is a breaking change related to OTA update https://esphome.io/changelog/2025.7.0.html
Do we have to care about this?

Unless you have modified the configurations from the project, this shouldn't be a concern.
We do use Web OTA with the pre-built firmware, but even that still maintaining the ESPHome OTA, so the Web is not the only method and anyhow, the last one was compiled with an older version of ESPHome, so this shouldn't be an issue.

Anyhow, thanks for the reminder, as I do have to fix this in the pre-built code for the next time it is compiled. 😉

Ah, I just realized not even the pre-built uses web OTA. That one uses http OTA.
